All Aboard: Chicago’s Canine Cruises Are Underway

For dog lovers and dogs alike, a Canine Cruise is a dream come true. Our pets are social creatures, and a leisurely jaunt aboard one of our vessels is an excellent way for your pup to make friends. All you need to bring is your dog and their leash. 

We’ve found over the years that dogs genuinely enjoy being on our boats, and the hour-and-a-half cruise time is just right for most pets. A Canine Cruise is a blast for everyone, giving proud dog parents endless photo opportunities amid breathtaking views of the Chicago skyline. Kids under 4 are free on our Sightseeing Cruises, making it a great opportunity to bring the whole family along for an unforgettable ride.

What to Expect Aboard a Canine Cruise 

A Canine Cruise differs from our architecture tours a bit, so if you’re looking for Chicago stories with a unique canine spin, you’re in for a treat. And speaking of treats—we’ve got amenities onboard for you and your pet to enjoy. Water bowls can be found around the deck of our yacht for thirsty pups, and thirsty owners can enjoy a variety of refreshments and snacks at the bar, including cocktails made with Good Boy Vodka, which donates a portion of its profits to support animals and veterans.

Booking Your Tour

Canine Cruises run every Saturday and Sunday from July through mid-October, so you still have plenty of time to plan your weekend getaway. And, once things cool down a bit, we host our annual Howl-O-Ween Canine Cruises on the third and fourth weekends in October. Come with costumes for all, and enjoy special pumpkin dog treats, seasonal drinks, and a costume contest. Tickets start at $46 for our human guests, and dogs are only $12 each. Plan to arrive 30 minutes before departure time for the smoothest possible experience for you and your dog. Cruises depart rain or shine, so dress for the weather. We recommend hats and sunglasses for taking in the city’s sights on bright days.
